Preserving Our Heritage

The purpose of the Boyne Heritage Center is to promote the collection, preservation, educational interpretation and display of the area’s artifacts, documents, events and history, its people and institutions, its cultural and economic development for the benefit of present and future citizens.

We are in the process of taking inventory, scanning and cataloguing the thousands of items in the collection. Photographs, documents and fragile cloth items are cleaned, repaired where possible, and re-stored in archival safe containers. Each item is added to our digital archives using the PastPerfect museum software. The complete collection will eventually be accessible to the public on this website.
